STEP 2: REGISTER TO JOIN OUR TEAM & FUNDRAISE FOR RACE WEEKEND

If you have already registered to run in Race Weekend as described in Step 1, your next step is to separately register to join our team and fundraise, right here: —Simply click the big orange START FUNDRAISINGÌý²ú³Ü³Ù³Ù´Ç²Ô!

Follow the prompts to create your JustGiving account and set up your personal fundraising page and goal. We are encouraging each of our runners to raise $1000. While this may sound daunting at first read, from experience we can tell you that it’s quite achievable with the tips and online tools you’ll gain access to, and we’re here to help show you how to get there!

Consider that asking 20 friends and family members for $50 gets you to that target—not so bad, right?

$1000 is also the estimated cost for our charity to support a match between a mentee and mentor for one year, so you’ll be directly changing the life of a young individual growing up in our city for the year ahead through your efforts. It’s real and impactful stuff, and you should feel good about the change you’re going to make happen in a young person’s life.
